JAM ON THE ROAD
As part of a collaborative effort between Berks Arts, Boscov’s Berks Jazz Fest, getJazzed, and community music schools in the region, students are invited to attend an afternoon of clinics and jam sessions with professional musicians and educators from across the region at three locations in 2024!

Sunday, February 18 at Settlement Music School’s Mary Louise Curtis Branch in Philadelphia, PA
Saturday, February 24 at Community Music School in Trappe, PA
Sunday, February 25 at Mickey’s Black Box in Lititz, PA

Check-In Begins at 1:30pm
Workshop Event Begins at 2pm
Jam Session Begins at 4pm (open to public)
Event Ends at 5:30pm
Additional Info
*Event curriculum is geared toward students approximately 12-18 years of age.
*Participants should be able to read music, play a few major scales, and have some experience playing in jazz style. Drummers should have experience playing basic music styles (swing, rock, etc.) on a drum set.
*Thanks to a generous donor, this event is free for all students.
*Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
